Kulturformidling i børnehøjde

Studenteropgave: Speciale

The thesis explores children’s perspective on culture mediation by observing and interviewing children in the culture institution, Film-X. With a theoretical focus on research in children’s culture, the thesis studies how the historic development of this research has changed the way we develop culture mediation for children to day. Based on an aesthetic approach to children’s own culture, the thesis explores the culture term “culture by children” mainly based on theories by Beth Juncker, Flemming Mouritsen and Kirsten Drotner. By using an empirical method that’s based on interviews and drawings, the thesis argues that children prefers a culture mediation that has a focus on the recipient and involves their own form of expressions.
