This thesis discusses the decreasing number of students in Danish technical col- leges. The craftsmen industry will miss 30.000 skilled workers in the coming years which will become a problem for our society. As a part of the problem of recruiting students, this thesis focuses on the image of the Technical Colleges. The structure of the project reflects our working process. The method used is named an “open ethnographic project”. This method was chosen in order to achieve a broad view on the issues. The data used in our campaign concept, is based on interviews with students and teachers from Technical Colleges in Copen- hagen and Roskilde, and an elementary school in Copenhagen. The main conclusion is that an informative campaign could improve the image of the Technical Colleges in Copenhagen, for students in 8th. 9th. and 10th grade of the elementary schools. To achieve a better image, the campaign must include an entertaining message presented in a surprising way through a known media.
