Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

Abstrakt

This report is about the design and implementation of Java2DGames – a simple computer game-framework written in Java. The purpose of the framework is to ease the development-process of different types of computer games, by functioning as a versatile development-tool for the intermediate programmer. We have analyzed Greenfoot which is a framework made to teach object-oriented programming based on game-programming. Our own design was based on this analysis. We have tested the framework for its functionality and flexibility by the implementation of two different games. The results from these tests showed us that Java2DGames is working and is easy to use for the intermediate programmer.
