It has for too long been debated that a lever with a large mass on one end, and a pendulum
with a smaller mass in the other end could possibly amplify energy when set in motion.This controversial claim is examined through several efficiency tests. A lagrangian computer
model was set up to to gain knowledge of the setup in question. Also a critical review of the
methods in previous research is also discussed.
The simple yet reliable testing methods done here do disagree with the controversial claims,
The lagracian model needs improvement but is a good start for coming experimenters, to
compare and confirm energy conservation. The reports previously referred to in the
community are disregarded as pseudoscience due to incomplete testing methods.
It should be mentioned that the methods mentioned here can be improved, and we can not
say for sure that this chapter is closed, though everything point towards it.
