Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

In this paper we will analyze the derived effects of insourcing on the Danish society and whether there could be an increased incentive to promote companies’ withdrawal of production, and if this contains solutions to some of Denmark’s future challenges. The purpose of the paper is to illustrate whether an undocumented potential exists for improving a number of the parameters that the Danish economy is evaluated on. Considerations that lead to the original relocation of production will be described, and the conse-quences there of, will be assessed. Experiences from the primary outsourcing have potentially leaded to a new corporate strategy, which also will be estimated. By analyzing quantitative data from reports and Danmarks Statistik, the indirect effects on em-ployment of both outsourcing and insourcing will be assessed, as well as the influence here of on government budgets and finances. The Danish governments’ initiatives that potentially affect insourcing will also be analyzed, as well as whether there is an actual strategy for insourcing, or if possible solutions exist in a more general political initiative and which political areas are relevant. Lastly, insourcing’s overall significance will be discussed and perspectives regarding thispapers significance and the possibilities for future studies will be addressed.
