This study investigates how the Danish law of inclusive education at preschool level, is affecting third grade pupils at a school in Roskilde, Denmark. Our empirical data has been conducted through observations with the purpose of creating empirical data on how inclusive education functions on a practical level. Furthermore the group interviewed two teachers with the purpose of understanding their view on inclusive education. The results from the study indicates, that it is fairly difficult to include pupils with special needs in this particular investigation. Further it occurs that the teachers lack resources and competence to cope with the individual needs of the pupils.
