This thesis is about the implementation of climate change adaptation in Copenhagen where the precipitation is to be handled on with surface solutions. The extensive climate change adaptation plan will lead to app. 470 construction projects within the municipality during the next 20-30 years which will have a city wide impact. With the actor-network theory perspective of Bruno Latour we look into how climate change adaptation can become a part of the local networks around the city prior to the construction of the 470 projects. Our study is focussed on the municipal administration and a specific case where climate change adaptation is trying to squeeze into a ongoing park project. On the basis of our network study we identify nine main challenges for the integration of climate change adaption solutions in new networks and propose two new strategies based on our actor-network theory approach.
