In this project we have chosen to combine the subjects communication, philosophical interpretation and aesthetic philosophy as a framework. Through these theories the chosen case, Coca-Cola commercial Holidays are coming - Christmas Trucks, will be analysed. Our analysis of the commercial have led us to the conclusion that the commercial, contains a number of aesthetic properties, which leads to an aesthetic experience based on the content-oriented account. Whereas we conclude that the affect-oriented account in less extent leads to an aesthetic experience. Furthermore, through an interpretation analysis of the commercial, we conclude that the primarily intention is to influence the receiver to purchase their product Coca-Cola Classic through emotional and psychological mechanisms. Overall the commercial can be concluded to have an aesthetic value.
