Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

Abstrakt

The project Højskoleliv, is a study of how the højskole culture has an impact on the student- teacher interaction, at a grundtvigsk højskole, with Testrup Højskole as our case. The methodological considerations, has been inspired by Grounded Theory and furthermore objective observations were used in the fieldwork. The theoretical understanding, has been founded in cultural analysis, though Clifford Geertz and his understanding of culture and a coding process of the analysis, through Ehn and Löfgrens book about cultural analysis. The basic concepts of this project, is culture, dannelse, the individual and the collective. The predominant part of the project is process oriented, since the methodology is in focus and since the approach to the fieldwork through Grounded Theory, calls for an inductive practice.
