In this paper we examine different aspects regarding right turn accidents. By using design science research methodology we have developed a problem based solution. We have based the solution on theories concerning human behavior in a traffic environment. In addition to this, we have been observing different intersections in Copenhagen. Our solution seeks to conjure awareness among road users, and adds new information to traffic. The intention is to affect cyclists to avoid the blind spot of a lorry. Based on different theories and observations, we believe that our design is a possible contributor to decreasing right turn accidents.
