This thesis investigates an imagined conflict between intuitionalism and streetculture. Through conducted field studies an analysis of the users’ perception of the GAME-house is made. Inclusion versus exclusion and social categorizations are terms applied in order to enlighten the users of the GAME-house’s actions. Furthermore, theory on organizations and institutions is applied in order to compare the users’ perceptions with GAME’s visions and values. Finally a methodology on observations, informal conversations and interviews contribute with a broader understanding of how to approach empirical field studies as well as to analyze collected data with a critical mind. It is concluded that the conflict between streetculture and institutionalism is not as broad as expected, though other conflicts arise, mainly enlightened by the theoretic framework.
