Abstract The foundation for this study lies in the perception that there is a dominating focus on very generel directions for working with health, in the health promoting area of danish businesses. As an alternative way of thinking, this study offers the use of Ralph D. Stacey’s Complexive Responsive Proces-theory as a means of understanding the organisational dynamics which occur, when a business management makes efforts to increase the health of their staff members. The usefulness of the CRP-theory is examined by a case-study. In the light of the theory an analysis is made, and this leads to the formation of a series of points, in which it would be interesting to involve the managers of the business. The conclusion to this study is that the CRP-theory is very useful in means of gaining insight into the relevant and interesting dynamics that occur. Furthermore, the way in which the analysis is carried out, and the formation af points with which to return to the business management, is in itself a way of using the CRP-theory in a specific an meaningful context.
