This project is a description of the development in the Danish flexicurity model after the structural reform of the public sector in 2007 and thus some fundamental changes of the political structure in the field of employment. Since the theory of New Public Management has had a decisive influence on the structural reform, we analyze this form of government, and on the same time we examine the flexicurity model as an ideal type. At first we examine the organizational development within the field of employment after the structural reform. Then we analyze NPM as a political tool of government in connection to the content of the reform, and finally we examine different tendencies in the development with regard to different parameters in order to evaluate, whether the flexicurity model has been strengthened or weakened after the structural reform.
