Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project will give a short introduction to the Danish law on commissions of inquiry, the background for writing the law and how the law functions today. The Farum Commission that was established in 2003, based on the Farum case, where public funds had been misused, will be the object of the analysis. The analysis will look into the role the media played, as well as the result of the investigation on the Farum case. The discussion will discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the law in commissions of inquiry, and give suggestions as to how it can be improved. This will lead to the conclusion on the problem formulation: how have the Farum Commissions results and work influenced the way future commissions of inquiry will work?
