Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project investigates the making of an attractive urban space, and what elements this will require. This report focuses on Litauens Plads, an inactive urban space at Vesterbro. By empirical collected material, we have analysed and concluded on the issues of Litauens Plads. We have worked with the theorists Jane Jacobs, Jan Gehl and William Whyte that in linkage with the empirical studies, has conveyed us to a developed artefact - a model of a re-designed Litauens Plads. Hereby we have designed our suggestion, of an attractive urban space, in terms and relation to the discovered issues of the current design of Litauens Plads, and a deeper understanding of what makes an attractive urban space.
