Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

Abstrakt

This project regards the new Public school law from 2006, which has been subject to major changes, such as a move towards strengthening professionalism and greater use of tests. The changes are put into perspective by two focus group interviews with a number of randomly chosen Public school teachers with the view to examine whether the changes to the law correlate with the Public school teachers’ views and opinions. On the basis of theories on the late modern and competent child, together with an analysis of the changes to the Public school law, we ask in the interviews what the teachers think of these topics. The purpose is to use the theories and the analysis of the Public school law to arrive at an analysis and interpretation of the respondents’ views to the chosen topics in the new Public school law: objects clause, further the pupils' personal and general development, and to evaluation and tests.
