Abstrakt

This project aims to investigate how a city garden, through a literature study. Through methodological and theoretical frameworks, can be used as a climate solution alternative. City gardens are a new upcoming trend in Denmark. The climate changes are a huge problem worldwide, especially in Denmark the weather is changing and making huge flooding because the sea level is rising. Because of the horrific weather changes we have to make a change in the modern society conception we have today. The project wishes to look into city gardens climate solution potential and how a city planner can develop a climate friendly city garden with a starting point in other written projects and through the involvement of the citizens. The project focus lies in the historical development of the society and the organisations that today are making the green actions in the society. Our projects case is the city garden in Karens Minde. Through the city garden Karens Minde, we want to look into what different initiatives you can attempt to make a more sustainable city garden with different technological innovative climate solutions. If this succeed it is possible to make a city garden driven by citizens with the organisation as a helping coordinator.
