Our project is about and in cooperation with the association ’Blå Kapel’. Blå Kapel offers so-called green gardeners in residential blocks on Nørrebro in Copenhagen. The green gardeners are working with sustainability, waste separation and ‘green embellishment’ in the area. The communicative problem of the association consists of the members (the residents in the blocks) lack of knowledge about the association and therefor their own membership. They are not appreciating the green gardeners and their innovative work in the yards because of their lack of knowledge. In worse case scenario this leads into problems with retention of the members. Based on this problem, we have been working with awareness, branding and exposure in the context of the association in order to produce a useful communication strategy. We have formed a story around Blå Kapel in order to enhance all of their goals and visions. From this we have worked on a consistend and overall expression for the association, both communicative and visual. Finally we wish to see the work of Blå Kapel in the light of the prevailing climate- and environmental discussion that exist in our society today.
