Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

Our intension is to outline the future threats and possibilities that the book industry and the operators surrounding it will encounter when venturing in to the e-book marked. To achieve this we will interview the leading operators in the Danish Book industry. And compare and reflect on their statements and strategies. Furthermore we wish to analyse how the developing technology will impact the E-book marked. Our project is based on marketing analysis theory, expert interviews, and facts about the various e-readers. By analysing and reflecting on the established theory, facts, and interviews we where able to construct a thorough description of the present situation of the Danish book industry, and a realistic estimate of the future e-reader. Trough our research we discovered that the future of the e-book marked, and the e-book it self, is not yet settled. It is a puzzling question determined by a composition of both, user and industry demands, and the technological development.
