Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project is a case study that seeks to investigate how discourses on bullying at TDC (Tele Danmark Communications) affects the prevention and handling of bullying. The project’s main empiri is four semi-structured interviews with different employees from the same team at TDC. Following a discourse analytical approach that draws on discursive psychology, it seeks to analyze the discourses on bullying that exist among the interviewees, and the way in which the interviewees use these discourses rhetorically. Finally, the project discusses how discourses on bullying within TDC affects the prevention and handling of bullying, and how this process corresponds with the findings of current research in bullying. The project concludes that discourses within the company contribute to a tabooing of bullying that ultimately reduces the company’s efforts against bullying.
