Abstrakt

In this paper, we research, discuss, and analyze the ever-changing lectures, how they are becoming more and more digitized, and how this affects the students’ learning. We interview a student who has previously studied at Technical University of Denmark, and is currently studying at Roskilde University. We interview a focus group from Technical University of Denmark, who have extensive experience with digitized education, both in lectures and in their education overall. We analyze the difference between being with the group physically, and being there remotely, through tools like Skype. We also sketch up a possible solution to work around the flaws of remotely attending. Related to this, we look at Moodle, how it could be used as a platform to implement digitized lectures, and our sketched solution. We conclude that group work is essential to learning, and though our sketched solution works around some of the flaws in remotely attending this, it does not compare to the importance of situated learning.
