Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project consists of a literary analysis of the collection of poems det nemme og det ensomme by Asta Olivia Nordenhof. In doing so, we used the article Kunsten som grep by Viktor B. Sjklovskij and Drømme og Dialoger by Peter Stein Larsen. Furthermore, we interpreted the work by using the concept of the authentic by Jørgen Dehs called Det autentiske. Fortællinger om nutidens kunstbegreb. We discovered the correlation between the form and content, which led us to the analysis of the themes of the work. The themes are oppression, the fatherfigure and memory as a way of talking to those you cannot speak to anymore. The work is progressive in its use of the performative biographism, which is a term that was invented by Jon Helt Haarder. This is a method for the author to use herself in her works and the media. Also, he invented the expression biographical irreversibility, which is his way of saying: you cannot unknow the known! Defining authenticity as a concept was beyond our capabilities, though we found that there is no denying the importance of the experience of authenticity. Thus, we found that the literary devices could be a source of this experience, devices very much used by Nordenhof. Conclusively, we found that the work was authentic in the way the form and content correlates, which produces the experience of the similarity between the voice of a text and the self that made it.
