Den velfungerende familie: en analyse af Familie med Hjerte i Holstebro Kommune

This project deals with the family life and the social cohesion in Holstebro Kommune. The project is based on a case: “Familie med Hjerte”, which is a birth- and parenting preventive course, which will run experimentally up until 2014, as a free offer to all first-time parents in the municipality. In our method section there is an account of the approach for the project progress, and an account for our choice of empiricism. Furthermore it contains a reason for our choice of inter-view guide together with our analytical methods, which we have used in the design and analy-sis of our interviews. Attached to this is a section with what thoughts we had before, during and after the interviews. We have joint the historical and theoretical chapter. We have especially used Ulla Björnberg in the examination of the development of the family and their role towards the public sector. Moreover we have made use of Jürgen Habermas, Søren Juul, Jodi Dean and Emilie Durkheim in the account of solidarity, citizenship and the social cohesion. In our analyses we have examined, which connection there could be found between Familie med Hjerte, the family life and the social cohesion I Holstebro Kommune. Our analyses are primarily made up of three semis structured interviews with two key figures related to the course. Pernille Almdal who is project manager for Familie med Hjerte and Leif Christiansen who is senior consultant in Center for Socialt Ansvar. In addition to that we have made use of material sent from the municipal, thus having empiricism, which could support or undermine the statements of Almdal and Christiansen. In our discussion we uphold the theories with the statements of Almdal from the interviews to examine for similarities or differences, by it including our analysis in the discussion. As a point of departure for our discussion we have compiled a fourth work-related question, which opens a critical approach to the course and the statements from the interviews. The analyses and the discussion are described in our work-related questions, which in a sum-up terminate in our conclusion. The conclusion for the project showed, that there is a connec-tion between the course and the family life and the social cohesion. This is due to the relations and tools the parents are given in connection to the course. These relations have importance for the social cohesion.
