This project has to highlight the characteristics of "the good teacher" and the effects the new reform has had on the education of teaching. From a collection of material gathered over three interviews with students we were able to see how the theories of Wolfgang Klafki and Thomas Ziehe applied to a student's education and the amount of influence the teacher and society has on this education. The new reform posits that it will create more professional teachers, but not necessarily more qualified teachers. Since no complete list exists of the characteristics and qualifications that "the good teacher" must possess, it makes it very difficult to objectively define "the good teacher."
