Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project deals with the Egyptian revolution. The project is based on a descriptive analysis, of the historical process in Egypt, where we have demonstrated which forms of legitimacy the former Egyptian regimes represented, and in which way the regimes legitamacy failed, and an analysis of the different regimes legitamacy type, in Egypt. The project will examine the individual conditions, the various regimes faced, and which courses affected the Egyptian revolution. The project also analyses what the young middleclass in Egypt tried to gain from the revolution. The project investigates the democratic process, and whether there have been ups and downs after a switch of regents, in the economic state of egypt, with a reference to the forced abdication of Mubarak. In the conclusion of the project, we conclude how the legitimacy influenced the democratic process in Egypt after the forced abdication of Mubarak in 2011.
