Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project is concentrated around the subject business ethics and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). We have chosen the great sports event The Olympic Games and the International Olympic Comitee (IOC) in order to clarify the given issues that arises when hosting an Olympic Game event. In the societies of developed world there is a demand that businesses take on a social responsibility. The main subject for this project is to clarify why it is so important that companies are adopting business ethics and how much the IOC utilises it in their strategy. The reason for our chosen subject is the questioning and wondering of the impact that an Olympic Games event can have on its host-country. This will be analysed both from an economic and a social point of view. To complete the project, we will set up an interview with a representative from the Danish Olympic Committee.
