This study examines a stage at the Roskilde Festival by the name of Pavilion in the hopes of determining how the leaders promote ownership and how they motivate the volunteers working there. The study uses three theories by the names of; Cultural Dimensions theory, by Geert Hofstede, the Two-factor theory, by Frederick Herzberg and Anerkendende ledelse i praksis by Thorkil Molly-Søholm. The Roskilde Festival is encountering problems with declining motivation regarding their voluntary workforce and it's from this predicament our interest was sown. We will discuss the Roskilde Festivals approach to this problem and then finish the study by using our results to create some ways to counter this problem.
