Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

The following paper examines the coverage of Turkey in Danish news media from 2011, where the civil war of Syria breaks out, to 2015. During this period, the number of articles and news items on television increases with nearly 50 percent. This increase a discussion on the European public sphere and the term cultural bias. However we cannot draw any definite conclusion, the coverage of Danish news media is greater in 2015 as the refugee crises moves closer to Denmark which indicate cultural bias since the coverage would have been greater in 2011 as well if the europeanization had been superior.
