#This thesis analyses the field of competence development for the educated pedagogues in Danish daycare-institutions and accounts for a normative learning and experience foundation that encompasses Knud Illeris´ synthetic learning theory and Oskar Negts didactic theory of the exemplary principle and its impact on adult education in Denmark, as well as a democratic perspective inspired by critical theory. It does so in order to construct a normative view of the learning field that will give resonance to pedagogues’ orientation towards work place learning. The learning needs of pedagogues are explored by empirical findings in a conducted focus group and sensitized to other surveys on the subject. Language: Danish.
