This comparative case study examines how and if conspiracy theories has been used in an attempt to influence a political election. Moreover, a theoretical framework will be apply to explain the behavior among the voters and to see if conspiracy theories can be used as a tool in a political campaign and election. Additionally, this study will include an introduction and comparison of both the birther movement case and the pizza gate. Furthermore, a content analysis will be made on the base of articles and blogs regarding the two conspiracy theories, This will provide the research paper with either confirmation or denied the notation on the idea that a conspiracy theory can influence and how it does it.
