This project examines a social intervention in Denmark called the Café. Through three themes this project seeks to uncover weather or not a urgent tender as the Café at Sundholm is a meaningful social intervention for vulnerable homeless women from Greenland living in Denmark. To examine this, we have interviewed two homeless greenlandish and vulnerable women living in Denmark, who uses the Café and a social worker who works in the Café.
In general we can conclude that the Café at Sundholm is considered as a meaningful social intervention for the vulnerable greenlandish women, because it gives the women a room to share their feeling with others and because it gives then the opportunities to stay or get in touch with other social tenders.
We can also conclude that individuals identity and socials intercentions like the Cafe can be seens as socially constructed, which creates the need for social interventions in our society.
