Studenteropgave: Speciale

The following thesis operates within the field of temporary spatial practice in urban development and the dualism i urban governance. Within that field the thesis explores the realtionship and struggles between the rights of private ownership and the production of social space. Furthermore the thesis will explore the social benefits that spill-over to the neighbourhood(s) as a result of the temporary urban practice, based upon two current casestudies (PB43 and NV Auto Park) in Copenhagen. Lastly the thesis explores how the view of temporary urban practice in Copenhagen has transformed over the last 10 years, and and discusses that, in the light of the ever present threat of neoliberal planning and the interurban competition
