Studenteropgave: Bachelorprojekt

This project centers on the possibilities and barriers for the development of sharing economy initiatives in a business-to business context. Through an analysis of drivers for spread of sharing economies amongst peer-to-peer and business-to-consumer models, an attempt to apply existing theoretical knowledge is conducted, in an attempt to elaborate on the usability of said theories’ in a business-to-business context. An interview regarding barriers and possibilities undertaken with a Danish branch of the production- and service company, Thermo Fisher Scientific, will assist in examining specific implementation issues as well as illuminate underlying structures, prolonging the advancement of sharing economics between businesses in Denmark. A brief analysis of the drivers for development according to Danish think tanks and the Danish Business Authority, is followed by a clarification of the direction of current initiatives and their impact on existing business models, resulting in an evaluation of the usability of contemporary knowledge regarding barriers and possibilities for the encouragement of business-to-business sharing economies in Denmark
