This project highlights the late modern human’s relation to the concepts of mobility and con-gestion in Copenhagen. Through an analysis of John Urry, Anthony Giddens and three planning methods it will be illustrated how Copenhagen acts against the growing problem with congestion and what actions they are working at and how these are implemented. Through an interview with a planner from Copenhagen’s Centre of Traffic and an analysis of various theories, we will obtain an understanding of how the congestion problem will be compared to the late modern human. We will discuss how Copenhagen could work on these projects and how different goals and visions could be brought to reality within the city.
