This project seeks to find out, what would be the most reasonable thing to do to solve all the problems that is unfolding on different kinds of market with human organs. Because of the shortage of organs for people to survive, more and more rich people from the western world is buying organs from poor people in countries like India, Sri Lanka and Brasil. Unfortunately in many cases the poor people, who are selling just to survive and in the hope that they get enough money to achieve a better standard of living, don´t get the money as agreed. They don´t get a proper medical treatment so they actually get worse off after the operation instead of a better life. The projekt examines arguments that concerns these problems to find out whether it would be better if we legalise a market with human organs. The analysis is based on argumnets for and against a market with human organs from James Stacey Taylor and Michael Sandel. The project discuss the two different kinds of ethics and find, on the basis of the arguments, that it seems better to legalise a market with human organs if we should take responsibility for the atrocities happening between people as things stand.
