The purpose of this project is to explain how Virtual Reality headpiece, HTC Vive works, and how it can be implemented into treatments, with the main focus being on Claustrophobia for this specific project. The project is based on empirics of Claustrophobia, and general Phobias, the technology behind VR and Exposure Therapy. Additionally I use theory of Aesthetic Properties to tie the connection from psychological empathy to a usable Design Process and Product. The Product consists of 2 3D-rooms made for VR Vive as a suggestion to a treatment method of Claustrophobia, based of our research.
Additionally it is based on semi-structured interview with our expert Casper Arp Knudsen, a CG artist working with production of VR graphics at Khora VR.
