The Danish electronics company Bang & Olufsen has growth problems. Since 2008 the company’s revenues have been reduced by half. The company still had growth problems in year 2015 despite many investment activities. This project report looks at the possible cause variables that can give some insight into the current situation of Bang & Olufsen. The cause variables that have been included in this project report are: the economy, where we will make a financial analysis of Bang & Olufsens annual reports for the years 2011 to 2015. The second causevariable that can give an insight is through a statetegic analysis of Bang & Olufsen. This analysis looks at the environment of the company with the analysis of ressource and compentences of the company’s internal capabilities. Together, the analysis of external environment and internal capabilities gives an insigt in the company’s strategic situation in the year 2015. At the end of this project report, we will analyse the company’s future strategic growth opportunities. The opportunities will combine the financiel analysis and strategic analysis to discuss the possible and impossible growth opportunities for the company in the future. The growth strategies only exist in theories, so therefore it is difficult to come up with a final solution, because there is no such thing. The growth strategies are also restricted in form of explanatory insight, because we have not analysed all possible causes. The future growth strategies will therefore be discussed in the fundation scope of financial analysis and strategic analysis of Bang & Olufsen.
