This paper seeks to investigate how to create a TV concept that facilitates processes of aesthetic learning through digital video production, targeting students in 7th-9th grade within the Danish public school system. Through our empirical findings we have identified two tendencies within the scope of the report: one being that the students do not actively produce video content for social media caused by the fear of losing status; and secondly the teachers feel pressured due to the lack of preparation time. Through an analysis based on theories concerning TV and media, aesthetic learning and concept design combined with our qualitative empirical findings, we present a design concept that potentially enables processes of aesthetic learning, but also aims to motivate students to create short videos containing relevant curricular content in a school context.
