Studenteropgave: Semesterprojekt

This project examines the impact of digitalization on children’s social behaviour, and how an application can create a platform for social interaction amongst children. The problem in question concerns why some children choose to isolate themselves with technologies. The report demonstrates how some technology-use can lead to unintended consequences, such as bullying and social isolation which can cause physical and psychological problems both short- and long term. Empirical knowledge was gathered through interviews, and on this basis, an application was designed.
The report concludes that the responsibility of the children’s use of technology is an adult responsibility, and therefore the children are not to blame in this issue. Also responsible in this, are the software developers.
