Studenteropgave: Fagmodulprojekt

Abstrakt

This project examines how it’s possible to create educational and entertaining dissemination of culture by means of performative effects and participation in a museum context by analysing our participants experiences and remarks concerning our event ‘Sæson Søndag: Mortensaften’. We will through the analysis support our arguments with our own observational notes, video and pictures taken during our event. The analysis will examine the educational, entertaining and participatory aspects of the event, through the exploration of how a participatory experience like ours can be both educational and entertaining. We will In connection to the analysis discuss the ongoing paradox of balancing participatory centered dissemination without compromising the educational aspect of the dissemination of cultural heritage in the world of museums. We conclude based on our analysis and discussion that the inclusion of the senses as performative instruments can create an educational and entertaining experience.
