Studenteropgave: Speciale

This project is part of a collaboration between the Danish NGO InnoAid, the Indian NGO Joygopalpur Gram Vikash Kendra (JGVK), two students from RUC and DTU as well as myself. JGVK wishes to implement a waste management system in the village Joygopalpur in the West Bengal, India, and has asked InnoAid for help. The goal is to make a screening project to determine the size of the problem, and to make solutions on how to begin the implementation of a waste management system. This project aims to investigate how the women in Joygopalpur perceive waste, how they handle it, and what factors that may influence how a waste management system can be integrated into the local community.
