Abstrakt

The research focuses on the strategic partnerships of Red Cross Denmark, focusing on two partnerships. Four interviews were conducted and then analyzed to gain a deeper knowledge of how the Red Cross benefits from these partnerships, as well as how the actors in the divergent sectors interact and create value through their processes. The research found that a lot of different aspects must be taken into consideration by the NGO before entering into a partnership. Although the preposition is the social good that both parties are doing, economic factors drive the direction and effectiveness of the partnerships. The value created by the actors, both economic and social, could in many cases have been impossible without the collaboration of the sectors
