2D physics engine: En noobs kollision med fysikken

Abstrakt

This paper aims to clarify what a good physics engine designed to the HumTek course Noob to Master could be. To answer the stated above, this paper consist of three main questions centered about gathering empirical knowledge, designing the software and documenting our software, which will each have their own purpose, for answering the problem. As the paper is based on the course Noob to Master, this will act as a guideline for the decision making throughout this project. Alongside this paper, we programmed our physics engine, and this project contains our conducted system tests, and our test involving a user. As documentation for our software we have class diagrams visualizing the structure in our program. This paper contains a lot of illustrations, which serves the purpose of visualizing the different problems and solutions and create a better understanding of the written content. The conclusion of this paper summarizes our three main questions purpose and we hereby give our answer on what a good physics engine would be for the course Noob to Master or if it is even needed.
