This paper contains an analysis based upon interviews with seven managers and project-leaders, from the creative world, and how they solve economic problems in creative projects. The analysis is based upon the books On Justification, written by the French sociologist Luc Boltanski and Laurent Thévenot, and The New Spirit of Capitalism written by Luc Boltanski and Eve Chiapello. On Justification examines how people justify their actions, through different situations. These justifications fall into six main logics: civic, market, industrial, domestic, inspiration and fame. The New Spirit of Capitalism contains the last main logic, the projective city. It is through these main logics that we examine how our seven informants legitimize their actions.
