Abstract
My research activities and interests are situated at the interface between cognitive
science, science and mathematics education, and educational technology. I work on the following two-fold research agenda grounded in the recent theories of embodied, extended, and distributed cognition: (i) designing and testing new media-based technology environments to support embodied interaction (and learning) with external representations (e.g. equations, graphs, models), and (ii) investigating the cognitive processes underlying learning in such environments through interaction analysis.
