Abstract

In a contemporary world of complexity and runaway change, irreducible ambiguity, entanglement and flux, there is a consensus among those critical of orthodox programs in higher education: What is needed for the future? We need to foster skills and competencies in

● collaboration — transdisciplinary scope
● communication — facilitating translation, mediation and dialogue
● critique — questioning unjustified or out-of-date assumptions.
