Abstract
This papers shows the views and experiences of a group of six Mexican mathematics teachers who have completed graduate studies in mathematics education. Teachers explain what motivated them to pursue that kind of education, they mention the positive and negative aspects of the experience and discuss whether those studies have influenced their teaching practice.
