Logic-statistic modeling and analysis of biological sequence data: a research agenda

Publikation: Bidrag til bog/antologi/rapportKonferencebidrag i proceedingsForskningpeer review

Abstract

We describe here the intentions and plans of a newly started,
funded research project in order to further the dialogue with the international research in the field.
The purpose is to obtain experiences for realistic applications of flexible and powerful modeling tools
that integrate logic and statistics,
as exemplified by the PRISM system.
As part of this, we will develop systematic and automatic
optimizations, and the overall goal is to see how far it is possible to
promote such techniques in computational biology.
