Abstract

A new program for the training of upper secondary school chemistry teachers that depends quite heavily on project work that is integrated throughout the curriculum was introduced in the May 1985 issue of 'THIS Journal. That article focused on the general aspects of the program and highlighted an ep-oxide project that was carried out by one group of students as part of the first program module, Everyday or Applied Chemistry. This article details a project that was carried out during the second module, “Didactics of Chemistry.”
