N2 - This book takes as its starting point the idea that, over and above its internal plurality (actors, practices, systems, audiences, professional terminologies, etc.), support for professional transitions constitutes a social and professional world in itself, within which circulate a certain number of representations, principles of action, operating modes, tools, resources and individuals - professional or otherwise - and whose contours are relatively perceptible - albeit removable. As this world takes shape and expands, it seems to be absorbing into its fold fields and issues that were previously more distinct: health, social work, business creation and training as a whole (initial, continuing, vocational, university). Putting together a series of experiences and difficulties encountered by those who are going through and/or supporting professional transitions tends to give substance to this hypothesis, inviting us to document this world in detail in order, in a way, to move from a world in itself (existing de facto) to a world for itself, i.e. one that is aware of itself and therefore likely to nourish a critical and reflexive gaze.
